Rush Services & Special Circumstances

Rush Service Fees (Work completed within 2 weeks of tax deadline)

  • Individual returns: 50% surcharge
  • Business returns: 75% surcharge


We recommend scheduling early to avoid rush fees and ensure accuracy.

Late Document Penalties

If documents are provided after our agreed-upon deadline and this delays filing or causes additional work, a fee of $100-$250 may apply depending on the complexity and timing impact.

Incomplete or Disorganized Records

If records require significant cleanup or organization before we can begin work, additional hourly fees at $125/hour may apply. We’ll always discuss this with you first

Payment Terms & Policies

When Payment is Due:

  • Individual tax returns: Payment due upon completion, before filing
  • Business tax returns: 50% deposit required upfront; remaining balance due before filing
  • Hourly services: Payment due within 15 days of invoice
  • Monthly services (payroll, bookkeeping): Payment due by the 5th of each month

Accepted Payment Methods:

  • Cash
  • Check (made payable to GSDC Consulting Solutions, LLC)
  • Credit/Debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)
  • ACH/Bank transfer
  • Zelle, Venmo, CashApp (for amounts under $500)

Cancellation Policy:

If you decide to cancel services after work has begun, payment is due for any work completed up to the point of cancellation. For business returns where a deposit was paid, the deposit is non-refundable if cancellation occurs after work has started.

Late Payment:

Invoices unpaid after 30 days may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month (18% annually) and/or suspension of services until the account is brought current.

Special Circumstances Discount

We believe quality financial services should be accessible to everyone. In certain situations—such as for close family members, friends, or clients facing genuine financial hardship— we may offer a Special Circumstances Discount on our standard rates. This discount is offered at our sole discretion and is not advertised or guaranteed. If you believe you may qualify for adjusted pricing due to extraordinary circumstances, please speak with us privately. All requests are handled confidentially and with respect.

We offer a free 30-minute initial consultation to discuss your needs. Before beginning any paid work, we will provide a detailed written estimate based on your specific situation. Our goal is complete transparency—no surprises.

Pricing is Subject to Complexity:

All prices listed are starting rates for straightforward situations. Your actual fee may be higher if your return or project is more complex than typical. We’ll always communicate any adjustments before proceeding with the work.

Engagement Letters:

For your protection and ours, we use written engagement letters that clearly outline the scope of work, fees, responsibilities, and deadlines. You’ll receive and sign this before we begin any work.

Secure Document Handling:

Your financial information is sensitive. We use encrypted, password-protected portals for all document transfers. We will never request sensitive information via regular email.

Professional Credentials:

All tax preparation is performed by licensed professionals with current Preparer Tax Identification Numbers (PTIN) as required by the IRS. We maintain professional liability insurance and follow all IRS and state ethical guidelines.

Document Retention:

We retain copies of your tax returns and supporting documents for a minimum of 7 years as required by professional standards and to assist with any future IRS inquiries.

Post-Filing Support:

We stand behind our work. If you receive a notice from the IRS or state regarding a return we prepared, we’ll help you understand it at no charge. If we made an error, we’ll correct it at no additional cost.
